Jenny Olson
Fargo Site Leader, Director Microsoft

My 20-year career at Microsoft has spanned a variety of global roles across Communications, Marketing, and Organizational & Leadership Development. I currently serve as the Microsoft Fargo Site Leader. In this role, I work to ensure team members can thrive and I enjoy being able to represent all the goodness of Microsoft in the local and statewide community. In 2018 I was blessed with the opportunity to take a civic leave of absence from Microsoft to create the Office of Recovery Reinvented for the state of North Dakota, partnering with Governor Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn to eliminate the shame and stigma of addiction. That turned into a four-and-a-half-year adventure of all time, eventually leading me full circle back to Microsoft in June of 2022 as the Microsoft Fargo site leader. When not engaged in the above, I enjoy creating memorable experiences with, and for, my family of 3 young girls and husband, Ryan. I like to laugh while I think, spread joy like confetti, and bring energy to every experience.

But do it with gentleness and respect." This year, we’ll explore how to lead with hope, courage, and humility in every sphere of life.
